About Us

A Feedback Loop is a music-review podcast focused on music from Southwestern Ontario, carefully curated and spoken about at length by Dylan Zimmerman and Jesse Daly.  The pair aim to highlight bands that you might not otherwise hear, one album at a time, while occasionally bickering about the viability of disco.

  1. Hello A Feedback Loop,

My name is Yanis and I’m a 22 year old folk singer from Toronto Canada who has released an EP of original material produced by Damon de Szegheo of Serena Ryder, Barenaked Ladies and Craig Cardiff fame.

My music has been compared to Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Lennon and Paul Simon and I’ve had the unbelievable opportunity to open for artists Joe Pug, The Love Machine and more.

I sincerely hope you enjoy it and will consider it for your radio show.

  2. Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome review of ‘Mammoth’ by Cowboys in Cardigans. We aim to please, if you could email me your mailing address we have put together a swag package for you guys (T-shirts, all four cd’s, stickers, buttons) and please include the sizes you both want for the T-shirts. Much love!

    1. Thanks for sending us this! I’ll take a listen when I’ve got a chance and talk to Jesse about a review.

  3. Awesome website Jesse and Dylan.

The shows are so wonderfully simply structured. A session of constructive chat branching from a single subject: the album.

A refreshing review of the artists work without the baggage of shameless co-promotion — akin to the dialogue one may look forward to during a wine tasting… indie style!

    ~always,
    Petor

  4. Hey!

I’m Jamie from Beach Bodies, a young experimental pop/alternative/jazz fusion band! We’re from Guelph, ON, weird-small-town capital of the world (in our minds, at least). We saw you had given our friend Darling Cora a spin recently, and thought you might be interested in our stuff. Below is an article from the University of Guelph newspaper we featured in, as well as our album.

    Looking forward to your response!
